New SRCFC Leadership Needed!

Looking for a New Executive Director and an Operations Director

As communicated in April 2018, Calvin Landrus, SRCFC Executive Director since 2003, believes it’s time to turn over the reins to the next generation. In a recent dialogue with SRCFC’s Board of Directors, December 31, 2018 has been set for his resignation. The lack of clarity with his future health status is the primary driver in this decision.

For those interested in learning more and applying to be SRCFC’s Executive Director, the ministry description for the position is posted at Executive Director Ministry Description. To begin the application process, please send a cover letter and resume to SRCFC Board Member, Kristin Anderson, at We will be receiving resumes until July 31, 2018.

Additionally, we are looking for a second position to be filled. Over the years, Solid Rock has grown without the staff matching the time needed to perform the day-to-day operations of SRCFC. To meet that need, we are also looking for an Operations Director who would work under the new Executive Director. Read the ministry description of that position at Operations Director Ministry Description. Again, to begin the application process, please send a cover letter and resume to SRCFC Board Member, Kristin Anderson, at by July 31, 2018.

Applicants must be ready to step up to the challenge of leading a ministry with a broad scope with many large and small tasks and tackling the requirement that he or she must raise missionary support (funds) to be compensated.

During this time of transition, we ask that you pray! Join with the Board of Directors in praying that the right persons are called by God to these missionary positions. Secondly, we ask that you give. We want the ministry to be broadly supported and well-funded as the new director takes the reins. Give now as a way to validate the importance of Solid Rock to you. Finally, ministry activities in the near term will continue on as they normally would.
