    Invitation to be a Corporate Partner

    Please let me introduce myself and the organization I lead. My name is Calvin Landrus and I'm the National Director of Solid Rock - Climbers for Christ. I have a real affinity for the climbing community that I have been part of since 1978. Solid Rock is a growing community of 800 members with the mission of offering the Good News of Christ to climbers and we believe God makes a positive difference in a person's life. I invite you to consider partnering with us.

    Your partnership could include any of the following:
    1. An Annual Corporate Partnership Donation - There is no required amount but it’s suggested that the amount of the donation reflects the ability of the company giving it.
    2. Donation of Product or Service – We have on-going online climbing gear giveaways (Current Example) and events where gear giveaways happen. Additionally, donated product could be used for membership incentives but never used for personal benefit. Product can be donated directly or an arrangement can be made so Solid Rock can purchase gear at wholesale price (or the best deal you can offer).
    3. Remuneration for Business Generated – Designed for guiding services, climbing gyms and other service companies, this option has no upfront commitment. If the advertising produces business, the arrangement would be to give a donation of a small part of the generated income.

    The benefits your company will have from this partnership are:
    1. Company Logo (200 x 150 pixels), Write-Up and Link on Solid Rock’s Website. In 2004, our website had at least 10,000 visits.
    2. Annual Recognition in our National SRCFC Newsletter which is mailed to over 1,200 members.
    3. Whenever your product is given away, in person or online, your company will receive due recognition. During this past year, over 2,000 people have entered our giveaways.
    4. If you believe it will add value to your company, you will have permission to use Solid Rock’s Name and Logo on your own advertising.
    5. If applicable, SRCFC (as an IRS non-profit corporation) can issue a tax-deductible receipt for donation in excess of advertising benefit.

    Although we believe our mission deserves to be endorsed, your company’s endorsement is not required. We have separate pages on our website for Sponsors and Advertisers. All partners will have advertisements included on the website, but only sponsors will have it noted that they support Solid Rock’s mission.

    The partnership you would be entering into is best described as a “hand-shake” type of arrangement. An agreement can be formally signed (see Partnership Intent PDF) but an email or phone conversation is sufficient. You can rest assured that your donation will be handled with the highest integrity.
