Climbing Magazine Classified Ad

One of our budget goals for 2003 was to advertise again in the climbing publications.  We have started small.  We have had a small classified ad in the last couple issues of Climbing.  Check it out!  Pray that climbers will see it and respond!

Report of Mt. Erie Outreach, June 7th

By Dallas Kloke, Area Contact

Thanks to the following people who were present at the Outreach: Mark Barlup, Bud Miller, Aaron Bryant, Fred Sprinkle, Joe McGill, Pete and Christine Prediger, and Calvin Landrus. Really appreciate Calvin coming up for two days. The weather was hot; low 80's, this probably deterred some climbers. There were 10 climbers who signed up for the drawing of guidebooks, a pair of shoes, a chalk bag and locking carabineer. We passed out topos, spiritual materials and cold water. We enjoyed the time of fellowship and some climbing.

NOTE FROM EDITOR:  Not only has Dallas written the guidebook but he has spent hours improving access and putting up new routes in the area.  If you every want to visit the area, contact him.  His high energy for climbing at Mt. Erie and especially for the Lord is infectious!  Contact him at (360-293-2904) or dallas.kloke@verizon.net.

If you would like to support Solid Rock with financial resources, please sent it to our Treasurer:  John Blaubach, PO Box 366, Santa Barbara, CA  93102 or visit http://www.srcfc.org/member1/donate.asp for a printable response form.  With a credit card, you can donate online to Solid Rock.  To donate, visit http://www.srcfc.org/member1/donpal.asp.
