Climbing Outreach Trip to Potrero
Chico near
Monterrey, Mexico from December 27 to January 2
The area is known as the
best limestone in North America with routes of all grades up to 25
pitches. There are cool campgrounds with
community propane stoves and a pavilion for hanging out with other
climbers. Jeremy (staff@highertravel.com) is getting a
group together to go down there and mix with the 300 international climbers who
are there this time of year. Bible
studies each night and hours of dominoes with other climbers, a great outreach
opportunity. Camping will cost $5 to $7
per night You will be responsible for your own food/cooking and
camping/climbing gear.
If you are driving down from the USA, contact Jeremy so he can build a list of carpools headed that way to make options available to those who need a ride. Jeremy can also give you info on getting picked up from the airport in Monterrey. We will be arriving on Saturday night the 26th. Please RSVP your spot by December 11th!
