OUTREACH FIRST IMPRESSION

Steve,
I just want to let you know that my friends and I were climbing in Joshua
Tree during your outreach. While I missed the group of people that came
around handing out drinks (I was on top of a climb), my friends got to hear
your message. I'm the only Christian that was with our group, so I guess
I
was the most likely candidate to miss your group. But I was very
intrigued
by your mission and was hoping to run into you at some point during the day.
I didn't, but I'm glad I have now found the Solid Rock home page. I am
currently living in the suburbs of

I am unsure of my leadership skills, and after a whole life of Christian
upbringing (24 years), I am only now beginning to grow in my faith. Its a
slow process, but progress is being made. I'm not sure how much
responsibility I can take on in my involvement with Solid Rock, but I would
love to hear about any other east coasters that have an interest in the
Solid Rock mission. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to
help. My friends were very impressed by the no pressure approach of the
group that gave them their drinks. I don't know what kind of thoughts
they've had about it since then, but I think that it is key
that they were
not turned off by being approached by Christians. Thank you. Now I
just
have to figure out a way to take that to the next level with them. Feel
