Connecting in Colorado - 02.23.12
The American Bouldering Series Open National Championship will be held February 24-25 in Colorado Springs. SRCFC sponsored athlete, Matt Fultz, will be competing and SRCFC National Director, Calvin Landrus, will be attending too as a volunteer. This will afford several opportunities to connect and do outreach together along the Front Range.

In the evening, we have the “Matt and Calvin Show”, a bouldering and climbing presentation, at the American Mountaineering Center (710 10th ST, Golden) starting at 7:00 pm. Southwest Baptist University Climbing Comp, Bolivar, MO - 03.07.12
SBU is planning a comp, mainly for students but will be open to all as well. Plan to go for some hard “pulling-down” and some good fellowship.

2nd Annual Dallas Kloke Memorial Work and Climb Day at Mt. Erie - 04.21.12
On September 25, 2010, ten feet short of “The Pleiades” summit in North Cascades of Washington, Dallas Kloke dislodged a coffee-table sized block that knocked him off his route that resulted in fatal fall.
