Outreach
The weekend of April 15-16 was the Jackson Falls Outreach. The outreach went very well. We ended up with 4 from Champaign, 3 from Indianapolis, about 8 from Ft. Wayne, IN, one from Carbondale, one from Eastern Illinois University, and two from towns near Jackson Falls, about 20 in all. There were quite a few people there given the nice weather, and we set up top ropes for many who had never climbed before. They all had a great time, and we ended our Saturday around a campfire cooking and singing to Darren's guitar! Sunday morning we had a makeshift service around our camp, where Darren gave a really good devotional about his climbing experiences and his relationship with God.

A lot of people participated, and we ended in a prayer of thanksgiving and continued blessings. We then went off and set up some more top ropes, and groups started to leave throughout the morning and early afternoon. Those of us who were left over in the afternoon paid for it getting rained on pretty hard, but besides that we had a wonderful weekend with wonderful company and the Holy Spirit all around us!!! -Dave Booth
