CLIMBING EXPERIENCE: I have been climbing for 4 years (since 2006) but more seriously for 3.  I can sport lead most 10d's and the odd 11a.  I can trad lead 9's and easier 10's and I can follow most 11b's and c's. I have climbed many routes in Skaha, Squamish and Victoria and  moved to the Comox Valley in 2010.  I have been an indoor climbing instructor for 2 years and have had formal training in belay, rappel, and rescue systems.

SPIRITUAL JOURNEY: I became a Christian 4 and a half years ago (written Fall 2010) after a long and desperate attempt to not be one.  But the love and humble devotion of a few friends slowly broke down my aversion to faith and here I am.

MORE THOUGHTS: I believe that as people who claim to serve the God of Creation we need to be more of a presence in the communities that enjoy what He has made. I believe that Christians need to be out in the woods showing that we take care of what our Father has given us dominion over (the natural world) and that we love the people with whom we share the world.
