Red Rock Rendezvous, March 24-27

Red Rock Rendezvous

  March 24-27, 2017

 SRCFC participates by providing volunteers.

Solid Rock, due to a long-term relationship Mountain Gear, has always had volunteers at the event. That has allowed us to have a an outreach table/booth at the event that is manned on Friday night and all-day Saturday). That is our most important part of the week-end.

To volunteer for the RRR, please contact the National Office (office@srcfc.org) in January to receive information on how to sign-up.  Positions are first-come and there is usually a waiting list by mid-February.  By volunteering, you receive event entrance ($49 value), camping ($15) and volunteer gift.

If you don't volunteer, you will need to register to be at the RRR.  Learn more about that at redrockrendezvous.com.  Without clinics its $49 to register plus $15 for camping. Prices go up from there with additional option. That’s definitely a pretty good value.  Also note that this is a wonderful event for those new to climbing.

SPECIFIC INFORMATION FOR from previous years

FRIDAY: We will be climbing as a group (we may break into several parties).  Please plan on meeting at the first pull-out at 8:30 am. We will go from there based on folk's interest.

SUNDAY: We have a informal gathering Sunday morning where we have worship together. Location and time TBA.

LODGING: Some of us find lodging in town but camping is always a good alternative too. If you are interested in lodging in town, send an email to office@srcfc.org.

You can support this event in prayer and with your financial giving. We will be giving away $500 worth of outreach materials and funds are needed for travel of staff to this event.
