2013 National Conference
in Tuolumne Meadows August 21-25
National Conference General Information: They are traditionally our highest attended events. At them, you will get to know Solid Rockers from across the country, receive teaching from the National Director and other guest speakers on evangelism, experience worship and devotionals and hang out & climb together. There will be an outreach and/or service project as part of each conference. Usually, the days will start with a short devotional, followed by on mission climbing and ending with a worship and teaching time. We have begun a new three-year rotation of having one on the West Coast, then the East Coast and then the Rocky Mountain Region.
Only an hour from Yosemite Valley is a different world. Almost a vertical mile higher in elevation than Yosemite Valley, Tuolumne Meadows is an alpine rock climbing paradise. Giant golden domes, pine trees, and lakes - Tuolumne Meadows offers some of the finest scenery of any climbing area on the planet.
See more information on the area at http://www.supertopo.com/climbingareas/tuolumne.html
The Camping and Meetings: SRCFC have reserved 4 campsites at Tuolumne Meadows Campground, which will be shared by 6 people each. There are other sites available on a first come basis that we will secure with early arrivals as needed.
Please email Calvin (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your interest by August15th so final planning can be made.
