June 1-2: SRCFC at Gear Up Expo, Everett, WA

Solid Rock will be having an outreach booth at the event

EVENT INFORMATION

A consumer trade show focused on outdoor adventure equipment and unique destination travel. Our event will take place at the Comcast Arena in Everett, Washington on June 1 & 2.

The theme, “Get Outdoors,” is appropriate for the anticipated 5000+ active enthusiasts that will attend GEAR, where they will experience a 30′ climbing wall, walk through a ‘Wilderness Area’, and enjoy the 100+ seat ‘Adventure Theater’ which offers 17 scheduled one hour long exciting and dynamic presentations.

GEAR, a consumer trade show with over 250 booths, provides the ability to sell on the show floor. GEAR will captivate those interested in outdoor products and services to ‘gear-up’ and get ready for the summer/fall 2013 season.

ENTRY FEE: $10.00 & See More Information

SRCFC INFORMATION

The outreach booth will be small part of this weekend as we will be at least a group of eight and trade off time at the booth.  The rest of the time, we will be doing some on-mission climbing at Mt. Erie and camping out at Deception Pass State Park on Whidbey Island (Friday, Saturday and Sunday night).  Team is set to include the summer missionary team of Zach, Josh, Taylor and Jacob (from Texas), Nate and Sarah Moore (climbing chaplains),  Matthew (someone consider full-time missionary work to climbers) and Calvin Landrus (national director).  There is room for more at the camping.  Or plan to join us for either at the Expo or Mt. Erie.  Please email calvin@srcfc.org if you are interested in being at any of this.
