CMC at Horse Pens 40 - 2011

Chandler Mountain Challenge: Horse Pens 40, near Steele Alabama, is one of the best bouldering locations in the country and has problems for all abilities. Chandler Mountain Challenge 2011 will be about the joy of climbing and helping others. For every V-point bouldered by a registered climber, a dollar will be donated by SRCFC to buy medicine for African children with AIDS. Over $1500 was raised.

2011 National Conference at Yosemite

National Conferences are traditionally our highest attended events. At them, you will get to know Solid Rockers from across the country, receive teaching from the National Director and other guest speakers on evangelism, experience worship and devotionals and hang out & climb together. There will be an outreach and/or service project as part of each conference. Usually, the days will start with a short devotional, followed by on-mission climbing and ending with a worship and teaching time.

Rocktoberfest 2011

What does every dirtbag climber love? That's right, free food! That is just what they got at the Solid Rock pancake breakfast during Rocktoberfest on October 9th. Hundreds of climbers lined up as Solid Rockers served the climbing community.
